Ignite at Dutch Design Week 2025
October 18–26, Eindhoven, The Netherlands
Stoneveil Design’s Ignite will be exhibited at Dutch Design Week 2025, taking place in Eindhoven from October 18–26. As one of Europe’s leading events for contemporary design and innovation, Dutch Design Week brings together international creators exploring new relationships between material, technology, and culture.
Ignite interprets the movement of fire through structure and form, transforming a fleeting natural phenomenon into a quiet sculptural presence. From a grounded iron base, slender brass stems rise and arc upward, supporting glass spheres that hold a soft inner glow. Rather than replicating a flame, the piece captures its essence through stillness and balance, celebrating illumination as both function and emotion.
Presented as part of DDW’s official program, Ignite represents Stoneveil Design’s ongoing research into sustainable material practice and poetic minimalism. The studio’s work continues to merge craftsmanship and environmental awareness, creating design that connects sensory experience with long-term resilience.
